While living in Ohio, I worked at Smyth Business Systems
as a field technician repairing and programming computerized
Cash Registers and Computers! I worked at this company from January, 1980
to June, 1983. Here are a couple of pictures of Smyth Business Systems;
The Cash Register/Computer Business where I worked in
North Canton, Ohio!
This is a later picture when I came back and visited with relatives
in 1987, 1994, 1997, while doing my genealogy research efforts!
My father got ill from lung cancer in June 1983, I decided
to move back to Florida, and worked again at
our television store in Zephyrhills for
another short time. I then acquired a job with
International Cash Register, in Orlando, Florida.
I then got an apartment in Orlando, Florida.
The company decided to open a sub-office in Melbourne, Fl.
I, then, took that position and moved to Melbourne, Fl.
I took an apartment at Lake Washington Downs, on Wickham Road.
The second story again!
Times still were a little tough, so I
moved to several smaller and cheaper places to make ends meet.
I just spent more money than I was making;
the same old story for most Americans.
Well, when I locate more pictures, I will post as my historical story continues!
